a sorrow...  an email from my kid’s teacher..

Hello parents!



So, we will be holding a graduation ceremony for our Special kids this Friday, here at school at 1:30 pm in the Multi Purpose room, where it should be nice and cool for everyone. ALL OF THE KIDS WILL BE GETTING RECOGNITION AWARDS!



First I will make some remarks and introduce the paras. Then we will award the kiddos, then graduate our 6th graders. After there will be a reception. We can laugh and be merry and enjoy some photo opps with the kids. I’m sure I will cry at some point. Maybe you will too!

Did you meant to write "Parting is such sweet sorrow"? Not sure what's your point is.

Personally I don't like it when teachers give awards to all the kids just so they all can feel good. It takes away that special feeling of achieving something special if everyone gets the same award so why should you try so hard.

On a contrary,  I feel he has a kind loving heart and a nice gesture to include all kids.  These are gìfted and non gìfted kids of all level.
