Ís this awkward?

coworker A was looking online at a food menu. coworker B asked what she was doing. She said she’s looking to see what she’s gonna order for lunch. Coworker B asked if she was invited to the “other” dept go away party. Co worker A said she invited her own self.

Coworker B turned around and asked if I was going. I said it would be awkward for “our” dept to go without being invited.

Would you invite your own self when no one is inviting you?

Btw: It’ll be a free lunch for her crashing another dept’s party.

Hehe I would not go if I wasnt invited sis! They probably didnt invited you for a reason.

It’s a different department. When our department had luncheons, nobody from other department/s self invited themselves unlike this lady. Da an free roi ma con to-go nua. Not my money but still, sao ko biet diu vay?

I wouldnt crash the party but I’d probably go by and check if there is any left over after everyone has left.
Sometimes they have extra foods and welcome others to come and get it before it goes to trash.
Did that many times when I was younger.lol

We share the lunch room in our company. Other department would bring their left over to the lunch room after their party, and left them on the tables for others to help themselves. I would take some if there are something delicious...
