Can you share your ẽxperience with using an RV? Do you like it better than staying in hotels? Can you answers some of my questions below please?

1) Costs wise is it cheaper to use an RV vs. staying in hotels?
RV's costs would include the costs to buy the RV, insurances, maintenance, gasoline to drive from place to place, parking/hook up fees, and when you come home you also
have to dump those waste somewhere right?

2) Do you also have to bring a separate smaller vehicle to get around once you arrive to your destination?

3) When you driving to your destination but have to temporarily stay overnight at some places, do you have to find a special area to park & hook up/anchor down your RV to use the bathroom etc?

1. It’s all preference. Best thing is we get to take thang B along with us without worrying about dog friendly hotels + deposits. In a Covid time like this, we like the convenience in the use of our own bathroom and living space with road traveling. We get to visit many cities while parking anywhere watching the waves from our little traveling vacation home. If we want to go swimming, boating or kayaking, we go do it right there without worrying for a place to shower, rest, eat and sleep afterward.

You can if you want. Our RV is not that big and can fit in most shopping center.

3) When you driving to your destination but have to temporarily stay overnight at some places, do you have to find a special area to park & hook up/anchor down your RV to use the bathroom etc?

Just call for a camp site in that town to reserve then check in. There are full hook up ( electricity, water and dumping included) and dry camping (you use your own water, electricity from your own generator and dump your black tank at the dumping site for a minimal fee).

A pic is worth a thousand words. Laugh

Thanks Beibei for answering my questions. May I ask you which RV brand/model you got?

I assume your RV is just a little bigger than a full size and wonder if you can just park anywhere or they require you to park in designated areas for camper only? How easy is it to unhook the RV and just drive it to grocery stores etc? I assume if you're staying for a few days then you need to hook it up to get water & electricity right?

Trailer is a good option too sis. Smile

Sis Ga: It’s bigger than a mini van. Ours is Class C 25’ and should fit in most parking lot. You don’t have to hook up if you don’t want to every time you’re at the campsite but we still do it since we want to get the full use of electricity and water that’s already charged in with the parking fee. If we want to unhook and go shop, we just do it because it’s just so easy.

As for the sewer, hubby would hook it up and would drain everything out before we leave. Our water tank can hold up to 50 gallons of water. Sink and shower water are considered gray water which drain into the 25 gallon gray tank. Toilet water goes into the 25 gallons black tank = 50 gallons. The fuel tank is big too. Fuel tank can hold up to 50 gallons of fuel for every 500 miles. It’s 10 miles per gallon, regardless if you’re towing a small car or any toys along or not. Now, you can do the math. Very Happy We’re doing it mostly for the fun. Smile Asians tend to calculate every little thing. Life is not fun anymore if everything is about money. Very Happy

Thanks for sharing the video bro. Smile Before we bought this one, we found the Mercedes which was the same year as this but they asked for too much. I didn’t like the Mercedes because it wasn’t as spacious as this one and the paint has faded from sitting in the sun for too long. The body for this one is still great, still new looking and the best thing was that it came with a car. The owner bought a brand new RV and wanted to get rid of this one so he gave us a good deal. Smile
