Booked different tours đi Spain & Portugal for 10 days costs $2631/couple for Land Tours + $1400/couple flight ~ $4K/couple total.  Cái kia chỉ đi Portugal only và nó cũng lên giá $3900/couple vì booked sau 30-days windows rồi.

Tuy là 10 days nhưng so với cái kia thì được tới 3 ẽxtra days of excursions bởi vì cái kia họ tính 2 ngày travel & 1st day in Lisbon as part of the package eventhough thêre were no excursions.

My travel agent found the package so I asked her to book it for me after we reviewed and liked the itineraries.  She could book the flights for us as well but since we want to use our Chase points so we book them ourselves. She sent us a link to pay for our land tour package.

The cruise lines/airlines/tour companies pay the agents the commission, not us.  Technically we can book directly ourselves but since she finds the package then she earned the commission.  Also if anything goes wrong/delays/cancelled, then she can help to resolve our problems especially when you're traveling and may not have access to internet to rebook or call.

If you want, you can also research to see if you can find better deals and ask her to match it (for example when you book a cruise through Costco they give you some Costco giftcard after you return).
