Singapore Sentences Chinese Workers To 5 Years In Prison For Taking A One Dollar Bribe!
Two migrant workers in Singapore faced the wrath of country's stringent laws against corruption after they accepted a one dollar bribe.
According to a Reuters report, 47-year-old Chen Ziliang and 43-year-old Zhao Yucun who work as forklift operators at Cogent Container Depot took the bribes from truck drivers passing from there.

Chen was charged with one count of attempting to obtain a S$1 bribe from a truck driver in exchange "for not delaying the collection of a container onto" his truck, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau said in a statement.
He was also charged for obtaining similar bribes from other truck drivers over the course of nearly two years.
Zhao, was charged for obtaining similar bribes over the course of 3-1/2 years.
"Employees are expected to carry out their duties fairly instead of obtaining bribes in exchange for favours," the bureau said in the statement. "Even if the bribe amount is as low as $1, they can be taken to task. Bribes of any amount or any kind will not be tolerated," it said.

How can they datermine whether it's a bribe or a tip?
Bên VN mà áp dụng luật này thì cả nước bị vào tù ngồi rục xương luôn!

Nhớ trước đây có 1 tên VN bị bắt vì có drugs trong hành lý lúc make connection ở Singapore và bị họ xử tử. Và nghe nói ăn cắp là bị chặt tay 0 biết đúng 0 nửa.

Ai rủ đi du lịch Singapore tui 0 đi đâu. Rủi ro bị bắt bỏ tù vì lở tay xả rác!

hôm bữa cái thằng trong hãng tui cũng nói vậy, tui hỏi nó lỡ my napkin in backpack gió làm bay ra thì sao, nó nói "sorry, no excuse"

Tui sợ lúc check out of hotel bị arrested vì lấy mấy chai shampoos nhỏ về!
Mình là con người nhiều tội lỗi nhiều khi làm lỗi hồi nào cũng 0 hay. Ở nấy xứ này họ phạt nặng quá tui sợ bị life sentence luôn.
