Infant died after being left inside day care van in Florida
A baby girl, just a few months old, died on Wednesday after being left in a day care van in Florida, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to a call about an unresponsive baby at the Ewing's Love and Hope Preschool and Academy around 1 p.m. The infant was found in a car seat inside the van. She was transported to the hospital, where she died.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Assistant Chief Brian Kee told CNN that preliminary information shows she was in the van from around 8 a.m. till the call came in.
Temperatures in the area reached as high as 92 degrees on Wednesday, according to CNN meteorologist Dave Hennen.
Kee said the day care facility uses the van to pick up some children in the morning, and it was a day care worker's responsibility to make sure all children were out of the van.
According to the center's website, it opened in 2015 and have programs ranging from after-school care for school age children to care for infants beginning at 6 weeks old.
CNN called the facility. The person who answered had no comment.
The center cares for around 14 children, and no others were injured, Kee said.
On average, 38 children die each year in hot cars, according to the safety organization Kids and Cars. That's about one death every nine days. Last year the fatalities were the highest recorded with 52 deaths. Between 1998 and 2018, Florida had the second highest deaths with 88, according to NoHeatStroke.org.
The investigation is ongoing and charges could be filed once the case is submitted to the district attorney's office, according to Kee.

Giử con nít mà đầu óc distracted lo ra hay vì phải lo nhiều đứa nhỏ quá thì có thể xảy ra chuyện đáng tiếc!
Hồi xưa Gà cũng mém bỏ quên con trong nhà lúc went away for the weekend. 2 vợ chồng lo get ready mang carseat, playpen, stroller, quần áo, tả sữa và chăn gối ra xe xong leo lên sửa soạn de xe để đi thì mới realized thằng bé còn ngồi trong cái rocker trong nhà bếp chưa ai bồng ra xe hết! Ai cũng nghỉ mình sẽ 0 bao giờ có thể quên con hết ....but it's very possible.....
Tội nghiệp cho gia đình của đứa bé chết!

Daycare là phải kỹ lưỡng mấy vụ này. Còn chuyện chị gà là khác. Đón đứa nào xong là theo em phải bỏ tên xuống .... Mang vô trong rồi cũng check và check lại xe. Mấy đứa mấy tháng tuổi đâu biết tự mở seatbealt để nhảy ra xe đâu.

Em bé mới mấy tháng còn quá nhỏ, mà đem gởi daycare tội quá!

Hồi đó nghe kể trên TV có tường thuật 1 vụ 2 vợ chồng kia đi cruise, tới cái island nào đó họ cho xuống, tới chừng trở lên 2 vợ chồng này còn sót lại trên đảo, họ ngồi đó cà ngày không thấy tàu quay lại,
sau đó họ đánh liều nhảy xuống biển bơi, giữa chừng 1 người bị cá mập cắn, người kia buông phao cho chìm luôn ... nghe ghê quá (may là không có coi mà cũng bị ám ảnh).
(nói về vụ quên check tên in/out chứ không liên quan gì mấy trẻ em trong vụ daycare hay bỏ trong xe)
sau đó họ đánh liều nhảy xuống biển bơi, giữa chừng 1 người bị cá mập cắn, người kia buông phao cho chìm luôn ... nghe ghê quá (may là không có coi mà cũng bị ám ảnh).
